Why Written in the Waves?
Meagan has lived on Long Island's Atlantic coast her entire life, and it was not until college that she began to understand its deep importance. Her research interests, she feels, cross so many borders that they seem caught in a perpetual, entangled web. Through both Atlantic History and Written in the Waves, she has found the time and space to thoughtfully understand each thread, enabling her to piece together an inclusive and holistic history of an entity that impacts everyone.
